A dinner with Fulton and Copper & King's at Alma.December 4 2017 | 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Join us for a "Supper Club Experience" celebrating the creation of CR&FTWERK – FULTON™ THE LIBERTINE, a collaborative beer from Fulton and Copper + King's American Brandy.
In early 2015 the brewers of Fulton first experienced Copper & Kings at a tasting dinner. The dinner provided an opportunity for head brewer Mikey Salo to chat about possibilities with Copper & King’s founder/owner Joe Heron. Brandy barrels ultimately made their way from Copper & King’s home in Louisville, KY to Fulton’s in Downtown Minneapolis to age Libertine, an Imperial Rye Red Ale; those barrels were then sent back to Copper & King’s for their Cr&ftwerk Program. The result was two beverages that exhibit the distinct flavors that each company is known for.
We are pleased to serve both beverages at the Alma Supper Club Event.
The evening will open with Brandy cocktails created by Alma’s head bartender Nikola Govich and Nick Kosevich of Bittercube, followed by a generous family style spread crafted by the Chefs at Alma. The meal starts with salad and a classic relish tray of smoked fish, salami, housemade pickles, breads & crackers and cheese dip, then moves to a main course of housemade sausage and broiled fish, fried potatoes and a seasonal vegetable dish. The night concludes with a Brandy Alexander and a selection of sweets. A Supper Club meal, Alma style!
In addition to cask-aged Libertine, a rich red wine and Fulton’s Standard Lager will be available throughout the event.
